If you want to enjoy a tour on your honeymoon, Las Vegas has many of those to offer as well. You have you choice of destinations including such places as the Grand Canyon and Lake Mead/Hoover Dam. There are also many tour types to choose from. You can take a tour on horseback, by Motor Coach, Hummer, airplane, or even helicopter.
Las Vegas also offers many upscale restaurants, many of them run by world renown chefs. And I can't forget to mention the buffets that Las Vegas is so famous for. They can still be found in just about every major hotel in Las Vegas.
Las Vegas is home to dozens of wonderful golf courses. With an average of nearly 300 days of sunshine a year, the weather is almost always ideal for a round or two. You may want to consider an early tee time in the summer months when daytime temperatures often are in the hundreds.
Las Vegas is also home to many popular nightclubs. Most of these nightclubs are located inside the hotels and a lot of them are frequented by celebrities.
Many hotels offer special Las Vegas honeymoon suites. If you are planning to get married in Las Vegas also, some Las Vegas hotel wedding packages come with a room or suite as part of the package. You may also get meals and show tickets included in these packages. Most Las Vegas hotels offer elaborate swimming pools perfect for relaxing by or cooling off. The Mandalay Bay offers a beach, lagoon, and wave pool.
There are also a lot of great attractions to see in Las Vegas. Many are free including the volcano in front of the Mirage and the fountain show in front of the Bellagio. You can indulge your inner child and go to the big top at Circus Circus. Circus acts are performed and there are carnival style games. There is also a giant indoor theme park there. At Paris, you can visit there replica of the Eiffel Tower which offers amazing views of the Strip. There are also several roller coasters available in Las Vegas. At New York New York they offer a coney island style roller coaster that wraps around the outside of the hotel. At the Stratosphere Hotel and Tower, they offer three thrill rides at the top of their Tower, over 1000 feet above the ground. One of the rides drops you over the side of the building. Want to see some sea life? Mandalay Bay offers a shark aquarium and the Mirage has dolphins. Animals are also popular attractions in Vegas. At MGM, you can see lions and the Mirage offers Siegfied and Roy's Secret Garden as well as white tigers. At the Tropicana you can catch a bird show. These are just some of the many attractions Las Vegas has to offer.
There is a lot to do in Las Vegas. It is definitely a great destination to consider for your honeymoon.
