Las Vegas Honeymoon Planning

Las Vegas is not only a great place to get married, it is also a great city for a honeymoon.  There is a lot to see and do in this exciting city.  Tours to places like the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam, a wide variety of shows, golf courses, and many nightclubs are just some of the entertainment options available in Las Vegas. 

Here are some of the other great attractions Las Vegas has to offer:

Adventuredome Theme Park - Located behind Circus Circus Hotel, this is a five acre indoor theme park features dozens of rides, mini golf, a roller coaster, arcade, rock climbing, bungee, and more.  All day ride pass $22.95

Bellagio Fountain Show - Located in the lake in front of the Bellagio, this free show features water fountains that dance to music.  Shows occur every half hour from 3 p.m. - 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. until midnight.

Eiffel Tower at Paris Hotel - Enjoy the views from the observation deck of this 1/2 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower. The deck is located 460 feet above ground level and offers stunning views of the Las Vegas Strip and surrounding valley.  The Tower also features a restaurant located on the 11th floor.

Fremont Street Experience, Downtown - This free show features a lighted canopy which spans Fremont Street in Downtown Las Vegas.  The canopy features over two million lights and the six to nine minute shows, which also feature sounds and music, run every hour from 7 p.m. til midnight.  Be sure to go back more than once if you can, there are several different shows to see!

Hoover Dam & Lake Mead - Hoover Dam, one of the world's great engineering and construction wonders, is located about 30 minutes southeast of Las Vegas. Lake Mead, one of the world's largest man-made lakes, was created by Hoover Dam.  The Bureau of Reclamation offers daily tours of Hoover Dam and it's Power Plant.  Lake Mead Cruises offers boat tours and brunch and dinner cruises on paddlewheel boats on Lake Mead.

Masquerade Show in the Sky at the Rio Hotel - Free show that features parade floats which ride on tracks suspended from the ceiling. Performers dressed in costumes and masks dance and throw mardi gra beads. For $12.95 a person, you can participate in the show. They will dress you in a costume and put you on one of the floats. Shows run daily at 3 pm, 4 pm, 5 pm, 6:30 pm, 7:30 pm, 8:30 pm, and 9:30 pm

Volcano at the Mirage - This free show features a 54 foot volcano in front of the Mirage hotel that erupts every 15 minutes from dusk until midnight.
